Nerd for: Delivering Excellence
Ngiste builds democracies wherever she goes, from Bosnia to Richmond, Virginia. A veteran of USAID and the 2016 presidential cycle, she founded Aulenor Consulting to support values-driven missions with a values-driven agency that understands the rigors of social impact work. A co-founder of the New Leaders Council | Virginia chapter and an internationally sought-after trainer, she can often be found taunting her cats with a remote-guided laser beam.

Civic dreaming and doing
Nerd for: Multi-sensory behavioral economics
A Denver native and long-suffering Nuggets fan, Sarah started her career in sports and transitioned to advocacy, campaigns, and government after 9/11. She has shaped strategy from the neighborhood nonprofit and mayoral to the statewide and presidential levels, bringing an ethos of calm and self-care under pressure, which often manifests in prompting everyone around her to drink some water and eat a snack. Sarah is skilled in hearing what people actually want (not their “But I should” voices), and -- an eternal optimist and servant leader -- named her cat Dobby, after a Harry Potter character.

Nerd for: Story Mechanics
Raised in the West Texas storytelling tradition of his grandparents, this New Mexico native brings over a decade of political campaign experience to his clients. Frank's focus and sense of humor elevate his approach, seeking out what makes each person unique - and why that element makes them a leader. Seasoned in fundraising, field, campaign management and more, Frank's only wish is that he had a pig named Hamlet to share the journey.

Nerd for: Defying Expectations
A DC native too foolish to steer clear of politics, Caitlin's desire to talk about uncomfortable topics soon required her to learn how to keep an audience from running away. A master active listener, her victories often come from articulating what makes someone talented and unique - especially when they struggle to see it in themselves. A co-founder of Aulenor Consulting, she regrets that her dog, Archie, hates laptops and refuses to let her work at home.
